Our Topic is...

This half term our topic in class is...

The Clothes Show

Our lessons in the afternoon we will be linked to this topic. In Science we will be looking at materials and in ICT we will be researching information on clothes around the world to create a multimedia presentation. In History we will be looking at the 1960's and comparing it to the present day (including the clothes!) and Geography we will be finding out where certain types of clothes came from and locating them through map/atlas work. In Art and D&T we are going to be designing and creating a theatre mask.

To all the pupils in 5L may I just say what a lovely term I have had with all of you.  You will truly go on to be excellent leaders in our school.  Thank you for all your hard work this term and for the happy times we have shared.  I hope you all have a lovely holiday please stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all in September.

Summer Fayre

Remember we are holding our annual summer fayre on Friday 9th July.  there will be a lots of games and prizes and the bottle stall!! Plus some new stalls.  Be there with lots of pocket money or be square!!

'Aspirations Week'

Next week we will be looking at several types of jobs/careers, visiting Touchwood in Solihull and taking part in Duckling Watch and a jobs quiz!!

Cardinal Wiseman Visit

On Wednesday we are visiting Cardinal Wiseman School for a technology day.  That should be fun.  I hope you think of lots of interesting questions when you are there!!

Song theme for the week!!

Following such a successful and entertaining visit to St Edmund Campion last Friday I would like you to create some more Spanish 'colour' songs either to the theme of Amarillo or to another tune of your choice.

Victorian Children Project

This half term we are going to be working on the theme of Victorian Children.  There will be a competition for the best 5 projects on this theme.  All projects to be completed and handed in on Friday 2nd July.
(A few hints and tips, Title page, contents page, some ICT and written work, photos, pictures and captions, researched info as well as some narrative giving your thoughts!)  Good luck!
